About 40 cm high, this is still a small and beautiful orchid from a bit lower altitude than most of the Philippine Dendrochilums. This means they like even more warmth as well as high humidity - so no frosts and lots of protection in cooler areas.
This pretty orchid grows quickly and soon makes a very attractive specimen. It is a little harder to obtain but not impossible. It has been in cultivation since its description in 1951.
Negatives: .Needs warm moist conditions and therefore glasshouse conditions in cooler zones.
Rating: ♦♦♦♦♦ A very attractive Dendrochilum.
